Introduced in a world sneak preview at the International Motor Show in Paris, the new Ford Mondeo is presented as a forerunner showing off the nearly finalized form of the series model before its official launch scheduled for the beginning of 2007. Satisfying customer’s wants and needs, the 2007 Mondeo will offer more comfort, more space, and more luxuries, while still remaining accessible. The style of Ford’s new wagon truly emphasizes the sporty, dynamic, luxurious aspects of the new line. The “kinetic design” features are carried through to the new passenger area, which showcases high-quality surfaces, materials, and trimmings, such as those in Alcantara®. This material is used to cover the ceiling of the concept car, and will be used for the seats in the series version. In addition to endowing the car with avant-garde technology, Ford designers chose Alcantara to offer top-of-the-line standards of comfort which assist and … pamper the driver.
