Alcantara® LAB. Lab as laboratory of experiments, experiences and challenges, like those that Alcantara Company, the company that has been producing the homonymous registered trademark product for 30 years, faces every day in the world of design. Collaborating with car-makers, fashion designers and interior decorators has taught us to listen to the widest possible variety of needs and find solutions in line with our clients’ expectations, often successfully overcoming the most unthinkable challenges. Today we offer custom solutions for the most prestigious companies in the world, the producers of internationally recognized brands, as well as for the creators of the most advanced design and promoters of the newest trends. Continuous contact with highly creative minds has given us the opportunity to cover the most unusual and widest variety of design shapes with our materials (from the newest seating concepts to the most advanced concept cars, from trendy apparel to exclusive yachts). This experimentation has shown us the way to follow. From this philosophy and the need to collaborate right from the first stages of the project, comes Alcantara® LAB, the laboratory where experiments can be performed on materials with a view to reinventing them and rediscovering their potential and characteristics, their uniqueness in time. The excitement of experimentation and the thrill of new challenges prompted the architect Giulio Cappellini to become the Alcantara® LAB coach. Together we will work to build a solid, lasting bond with the entire creative world, by listening to all the requests that come from different design fields and trying to interpret them in accordance with the codes and values of Alcantara® LAB.
