Alcantara S.p.A, with the sponsorship of Milan’s city authorities, put on the Alcantara® Style & Italian Car Design exhibition to coincide with the Milan Furniture Fair 2006 which brought together for the first time ever the most important names in the world of Italian car design: Bertone, Giugiaro, Pininfarina. The stimulating exhibition, put on at the National Museum of Science and Technology and featuring an installation at Hotel Nhow in the Tortona neighbourhood, brought together the evolution of culture, style and fashion with the most innovative car design of the last five decades. An exhibition featuring 15 outstanding models bearing witness to the Alcantara®’s role in the world of automobiles, and more generally in the world of Italian design. Once again, its unique style and focus on innovation made Alcantara® a benchmark for defining quality, prestige and comfort and offering unexpected opportunities of pleasurable living. Lastly, Ferragamo’s showcases located in Via Montenapoleone displayed Alcantara® for the entire duration of the fair, achieving a glam, decidedly new result within a contemporary mix of design, fashion and entertainment.
