ALCANTARA AND TCL AT CES 2026

Alcantara is renewing its collaboration with TCL at CES 2026, the world’s most prestigious Consumer Electronics Show, held in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9, 2026. Within the TCL NXTHOME™ booth, Alcantara collaborated to the creation of a unique sensory experience, where technology, comfort and emotion come together harmoniously in the home environment of the future.

Among the main innovations, TCL presented for the first time the TCL AUTO Smart Cabin, an innovative cabin concept that transforms the everyday car journey into a natural extension of connected life, integrating people, vehicles, and home spaces into a seamless and intuitive experience.

The design was developed by TCL in collaboration with BMW Group Designworks Shanghai Studio, and Alcantara was selected as the main material of the cabin: a natural choice that reflects the material’s internationally recognized excellence in the automotive world. Upholstered in futuristic shades of deep purple and light gray, the interiors amplify the sensory dimension, turning every touch into a unique experience.

Within TCL NXTHOME™, Alcantara also strengthened TCL’s narrative of the “Connected Sanctuary” concept: a seamless journey that begins inside the Smart Cabin and naturally extends into the home environment, where the material becomes the connecting thread. A harmonious dialogue of textures and design elements in Alcantara adds warmth and beauty to the technological experience.

The collaboration between Alcantara and TCL was also highlighted in the AiMe Land area, where the TCL AiMe robot once again took center stage. Designed to be both intelligent and emotionally engaging, AiMe was enhanced by Alcantara’s unmistakable soft-touch, redefining the way people interact with smart devices through touch, emotion, and material expression.
