ALCANTARA DEBUTS AT THE 2024 PARIS MOTOR SHOW WITH AN EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH ALFA ROMEO

At the 90th edition of the Paris Motor Show, a hub of innovation and cutting-edge design, the world’s leading automotive brands unveiled their latest models.

In this setting, Alcantara strengthened its position as a privileged automotive partner, thanks to an exclusive collaboration with Alfa Romeo to celebrate Italian craftsmanship and the excellence of Made in Italy.

Alfa Romeo’s stand, called “Bottega,” offered visitors an immersive journey into the heart of “Made in Italy,” with Alcantara covering the exhibition space walls in the Palm shade.

This hue, a sophisticated camel color with delicate pinkish tones, serves as an evocative symbol that recalls the warmth of Italian craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
The result is a space that exudes comfort and refinement, a welcoming and sophisticated environment that celebrates excellence and the rich cultural tradition of Italy.

At the Paris Motor Show, Alcantara confirmed its role as a luxury brand and preferred partner of iconic brands such as Alfa Romeo, BMW, Peugeot, Renault and Alpine. Recognised for its innovative technology and high performance, uniting elegance, functionality and a focus on sustainability, Alcantara elevates vehicle interior design with tailor-made, cutting-edge solutions.

At its stand, Alfa Romeo unveiled the new Alfa Romeo Junior in a hybrid configuration.
The seats, door panels and headliner are upholstered in black Alcantara with circular perforations over a red background and contrasting red stitching. This attention to detail not only enhances the Junior’s sporty character but also improves comfort and functionality.
These qualities make Alcantara the preferred choice for the top automotive brands.

BMW presented two visionary vehicles as part of its future range: the BMW Vision Neue Klasse and the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X. Displayed together for the first time, both models feature Alcantara in some interior areas.
The BMW Vision Neue Klasse, already unveiled at the IAA MOBILITY 2023 in Munich, boasts cream-colored Alcantara interiors, giving the vehicle a sporty touch. Meanwhile, the Vision Neue Klasse X features an Alcantara ice-colored steering wheel and Alcantara rust-colored pillars.

Peugeot also chose Alcantara for its entire electric vehicle range, including the e-3008, e-5008, e-308, and e-408.
Inside the e-3008 and e-5008 models, the fully embossed gray Alcantara seats enriched with contrasting embroidery, immediately capture attention, demonstrating how the Italian-made material not only adds a premium look but also offers functional durability to electric vehicle interiors.

The Renault Rafale E-Tech Hybrid stands out with its Alcantara seats, featuring laser welding on a blue backing, which offer greater support to the driver and enhance the sporty feel of the passenger compartment. For this model, a special version of Alcantara containing 61% recycled polyester was used. In addition, the material was customised by Alcantara’s Complex Manufacturing department , a special unit that provides complex solutions tailored to customer demands.

The extreme customization offered by Alpine through its Atelier allows customers to choose from four dynamic Alcantara colors: gray, blue, red, and orange, offering various options for seats, steering wheels, and other interior elements, perfectly matching the brand’s dynamic and refined spirit. In the Alpine A110 R, Alcantara adds dynamism to the vehicle’s interior with bold red accents that create a striking contrast. The choice of Alcantara perfectly embodies the fusion of sporty essence and refined luxury, balancing high performance and craftsmanship.
