At the LA Auto Show the company presents "the extraordinary world of Alcantara" and a special collection designed by the fashion designer Rosa Clandestino.
The third exhibition of Alcantara and MAXXI Project addresses a known aspect that has nonetheless never been thoroughly explored: the material's multisensory qualities. The exhibition's intent is to describe and show in a physical and extraordinarily tangible way the unique characteristics of a material that plays an increasing role in our everyday lives.
All the possible applications of Alcantara are featured in a corporate event for a Chinese audience, culminating with a fashion show by local brand Ricostru.
During the Shanghai Auto Show Alcantara presents its extraordinary world in an Interior (with its partner Ligne Roset), Automotive (thanks to its partner Lamborghini) and Fashion event, with a show of a Made in Alcantara collection by the Aquilano.Rimondi brand.
Testifying to its privileged relations with the world of fashion design, Alcantara is a partner of Who Is On Next?, a project developed and mounted by Alta Roma in cooperation with Vogue Italia and 11 emergent fashion designers: Greta Boldini, Arthur Arbesser, Comeforbreakfast, Quattromani, Esme Vie Memento Duo, KA-MO, Coliac, Melis Yildiz, Paul Andrew, Super Duper Hats, Ledaotto S.r.l. Each fashion designer creates an outfit or accessory made entirely in Alcantara for their collection.
Milan Design Week, April
Alcantara and Connect4Climate (C4C), a World Bank initiative, organise a series of debates entitled "Alcantara Dialogues. Connect4Climate: Re-Think, Re-Design, Re-New", at the Temporary Museum for New Design c/o Superstudio Più, during Milan Design Week. Internationally renowned moderators and participants sat around the tables.
Italian passion and Japanese technology celebrated in a prestigious event which the Italian Embassy in Tokyo hosted.
